The branch makes several annual awards to real ale pubs which provide outstanding beer and service. The principal award is 'Pub of the Year' for the whole of Tayside, selected in March. The winner is then put forward for the Scottish Pub of the Year award.
Tayside CAMRA ‘Best Newcomer’ Award 2011 —
Winner: The Grandtully, Perthshire;
Highly commended: The Ship Inn, B/Ferry, and
The Milton Inn, Monifieth.
